Code-named NROL-108, the mission is for the National Reconnaissance Office, a highly secretive agency within the Defense Department that’s launched five other times this year. Thursday’s will deliver a satellite built and operated by NRO from Kennedy Space Center’s 39A launch pad using SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket.
