How Coronavirus and Race Collide in the U.S.

The coronavirus originally was touted as a great equalizer in the U.S., with people from every region, race and socio-economic class at risk of contracting Covid-19, the disease it causes. But seven months into the country’s outbreak, it’s clear that Black and brown communities are suffering the most at a time when racial equity is at the forefront of America’s collective conscience.
