Senators tell Trump administration to stop forcing payroll tax deferral on federal workers

Unlike some in the private sector, federal employees have little choice under the directive signed by President Trump earlier this year. They will see slightly larger paychecks starting in September only to be forced to pay perhaps twice as much in taxes at the beginning of 2021.
