Even though 5.6 million Floridians are Hispanic or Latino, efforts to provide accommodations for Spanish speakers have often been ignored. One of the pressing issues for Spanish speakers is navigating the eviction process, and for Latino renters, the situation is all the more dire because leases and eviction notices are often only in English and court interpreters are not provided for civil cases.
